Happy New Year and welcome to the Konflux Theatre blog!

This is our brand new blog and we will be using it to share  all of our projects, old and new, with the world!

2009 proved to be a very busy year at the Konflux office, with many new schools and organisations across the UK embracing the Play in a Day phenonemon for their pupils! A highlight for us was engaging with many new schools in Scotland, with our brand new Play in a Day on The Life & Times of Robert Burns. We had various new bookings from schools and local authorities across Scotland who have used the new project as a way of celebrating Homecoming Scotland, and the man himself.

We have lots of new and exciting projects in the pipeline for 2010, including an environmental workshop developed in collaboration with Severn Trent Water, which will be touring across the spring term, in the Midlands. Also, a brand new workshop for year 5 & 6 pupils based around transition, the world of work and further education, developed with Connexions for Key Stage 2, Work Related Learning. We are particularly excited about this new project which will be piloting in our home-town of York.
